Liu Xie-ning (Chinese: 刘些宁) also known as Ryu Sa-jeo (Hangul: 류사저) and as Sally (Hangul: 샐리) is a Chinese singer, dancer, actress and model under Jellyfish Entertainment. She debuted as a member of Gugudan in 2016. She is the Lead Rapper and Lead Dancer in Gugudan.
Early Life[]
Sally was born on October 23, 1996 in Guangdong, China. Her family consists of herself and her parents. She studied in Beijing Normal University, Beijing Contemporary Arts Academy.
Career[]
Pre-Debut: CF modeling, Chained Up[]
Sally was a former CF model in China.
On November 10, 2015, she appeared on VIXX's "Chained Up" music video.
2016: Debut with Gugudan[]
On June 28, 2016, Sally debuted with Gugudan, which they released their 1st mini album "Act. 1 The Little Mermaid".
2019: Hello Debate Opponent[]
In April, 2019, Sally was cast in Mango TV's drama "Hello Debate Opponent" as Xiao En.
2020: Participation in Produce Camp 2020, debut with BonBon Girls 303, Gugudan's disbandment[]
Sally participated in the sequel of Produce 101 China, Produce Camp 2020, as a contestant. She finished in 6th place in the ranking, giving her a spot in the temporary project girl group BonBon Girls 303.
On December 31, 2020, Gugudan disbanded after being together for the last four years of being together and the last two after no activities.
